Principal

Szabolcs has been with Roland Berger since 2000, when he joined our Bucharest office as a Business Analyst. He developed strong industry expertise in energy & utilities, telecommunications and transportation, and was promoted to Principal in January 2011. His functional expertise spans strategy development, reorganization, post-merger integration and efficiency improvement (cost reduction and process optimization).

Szabolcs studied economics and business administration at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania, and at the University of Porto in Portugal.

Besides his passion for his work and great professional achievements, he is also a dedicated nature lover – in his spare time, he takes any opportunity he gets to be outdoors and "chill out" by practicing extreme sports.
